<p>They inspire me to do better, to be a better person, and to be who I want to be.</p>
<p>Folk Music (Cultural Stuff)
it hypes me up and helps me to do my work faster and dance at times. lol. :]</p>
<p>Rock music, although I tend to like individual artists rather than a whole genre. </p>
<p>Keane, for example, has really good lyrics. I can relate to a lot of them. Their music in general is nice to listen to. </p>
<p>U2 are interesting and make me think.</p>
<p>Phoenix are upbeat. </p>
<p>Generally music makes me calm, no matter what type it is, as long as I like it. Sometimes it inspires me to write something or to think about something. And I love it, for some reason, when I recommend music to a friend or family member and they actually like it.</p>
<p>Almost everything… lots of techno and major label artists (Yes, i like jesse mccartney…) and a lot of indie and unsigned artists.

i think i have a list of 90+ artists that i actually follow, and then there’s others that i listen to but dont like too much.</p>
<p>Music and school are two very separate thing for me, i dont let either one get in the way of the other.</p>

But maybe I should Google some obscure band names so I can sound really hardcore.</p>
<p>progressive echnical metal. Thoughtful, allows me to think instead of being ignorant (look at Americans and mainstream music, no wonder they’re so stupid).</p>
<p>Pop punk lol. Blink 182 all the way. </p>
<p>They taught me to have fun? Idk lol, the music I listen to doesn’t affect my perspective.</p>
<p>On the other hand, classical pieces (piano and orchestra mostly) really moves me. But when I listen, I keep my full attention on the music. So that doesn’t really affect either, outside of the time frame it’s being played in.</p>

<p>I have very varied taste in music. Of course, I discovered classical first, as I began playing violin at an early age. I didn’t like mainstream artists at all. But then in 2007 I discovered Nightwish, a Finnish metal band…and have loved metal ever since. Earlier this year I discovered DBSK, thought no other guys could possibly look so divine, and started loving kpop.</p>
<p>I listen to whatever song’s next on my iPod or computer…I never take mood into account. :)</p>
