Musical opportunities for non-music majors?

Hi, I'm a high school senior pianist. Does anyone know about opportunities non-music majors can take part in at Tulane? Things like courses, chamber groups, private lessons, and performance opportunities. I poked around on the music department's website but I couldn't find much about it.

I ask because I'm a serious musician (actually, I'm applying as a music major to several schools), but I'd like to keep my options open - in the case that I decide against a music degree, I'd still like to keep piano as a large part of my life.

Thanks!

My son, a sophomore, is a non music major. He is taking jazz piano playing as a 2 credit hour class. He is having a great time with it. In addition, while he is an Econ major, he is going to minor in music. I suspect if you contact the Music Department they’d give you more information on other activities.

Alright, thank you. I’ll shoot them an email.
