@DramaMan no message from Elon on Jan 9 on accptd here either… hmmmm…
So - just went to the Elon portal to double check that my son had submitted everything. Elon has a statement on their web page that all classes are cancelled and all campus offices are closed today due to winter storm. So… I wonder if our notifications will be delayed. Groan!
@DramaQueen219 thanks! We were in the massive snow storm last weekend - going to BW and then driving to CMU. It was scary. Both schools were up and running though. Point Park cancelled their auditions though. Not sure weather for this weekend, but I will shoot up a few prayers for safe travels to all! These kids are already so stressed!
FYI: The message came without any prompt by my S. But his first audition choice was the earliest date. I suspect most will here today. It did say, though, that you had to have your university application in by January 10. (My son had only applied either really late December or early January.)
so odd. my D had everything turned in during nov. i hope they can send the notifications remotely without having to go in to the university since they are closed #:-S
My D was also notified yesterday she passed Elon.

@MTmomSF I heard about Point Park. That stinks! My daughter’s friend was at CMU this weekend, and I have a friend who lives in Pitt, and she said it wasn’t terrible. I’d be really pissed if we made it there and they cancelled.

Well, I guess that’s a silver lining - although we haven’t heard anything - we haven’t heard a no. 
Does anyone know if MT audition invitations are delayed due to the school being closed today?
For those of you who have heard-was it any specific time of day? I know some schools have a block of time in the day where they send emails out.
D still hasn’t heard from Elon prescreen. Are folks hearing via acceptd or email?
FYI, NC is getting hit by a lot of snow near the Elon University area. We in NC do not have the equipment & staff to handle snow quickly. I imagine that could be playing a role in delay of notifications. It’s a bummer I know, this is really late to be waiting for prescreens results. Best of luck to everyone heading to NYC & other auditions. I fear some of my son’s friends will have trouble getting out of NC to NYC. One boy was supposed to fly out this afternoon but the flight was cancelled.
