Must-Read Books You'd Like to Recommend?

Could you guys recommend some?
I'm currently reading Jose Saramago's Blindness, which I believe is quite an awesome piece of literature.
Thanks.

I got 2 weeks til spring break. It's not even spring yet, is it?

I just read "Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom (I think that is is last name) and loved it. It's an inspiring book in a non-religious way... I wish I could have met Morrie.

It's also a real quick read and pretty easy reading, too.

I'd like to hear the books everyone is recommending, too!

The Young Lions by Irwin Shaw.

Excellent book about three soldiers in WWII... two american, one german. It follows each of them and their own experiences in the war. The stories eventually interwine as well. I highly recommend it to anyone.
