My D is freaking out because she just took a practice SAT II BIO test and scored 600. If she really does that badly on tomorrow's test does she have to submit that score to colleges?
I've tried looking through old posts to find out if you can select which SAT II's you want to send to colleges. Can anyone tell me if this is true?
Also, can you take the same SAT II more than once?

No you can't pick which SAT II scores to send. You either send all of them at that time or don't send them at all.

SAT II scores appear on the same grade report with SAT I. So if you send SAT I scores, you will also send SAT II scores.

Thanks for the quick reply TAWS. If schools just require 2 SAT II's will they look at the 2 highest scores and ignore any lower scores?

Actually I believe you can have scores removed from your reports, but there's a surcharge of something like $8.

Kelly05: From what I've heard, College Board has recently discontinued the program where they allow you to remove scores from your reports.

Why would they remove a service that could line their pockets with even more money? I don't understand...

It depends on the college if they will look only at the top scores. I think the UC schools only look at the highest.

An alternative to SAT IIs and SAT for that matter would be the ACT because many colleges will take the ACT in lieu of BOTH the SATI and SATII.

And yea, I think they cancelled that service in 2002.
