My ACT score situation

so last june i took the ACT and scored
C:28
E:27
M:31
R:28
S:26

After recieving these scores, I practiced hard for the English and did some practice for Reading and Science. I took the ACT in september and these were my results.
C:27
E:30
M:31
R:21..??????
S:27

I had never gotten below a 27 on the 4 practice tests i had taken. (Usually 28)
With that said, l felt that i didnt do great on the test and had to guess on about 5 on this section but seriously...a 21? I feel that a 28 is indicative of my ability, not a 21.

How do you think this will affect my chance of admission...I feel that my only shortcoming happens to be me test scores..Does anyone have any advice for me. Id really appreciate any help or would like to hear about others with similar experiences .

You probably skipped one question and mis-aligned on the answering sheet. Or you should check with ACT to see if it is a scoring issue.

You might want to try the SAT just to see if you do better on that type of test.

I agree - I would investigate with ACT to get better information. That 21 is way too much of an outlier based both on your prior test and on your scores for the other ones same day.
