My AP Biology teacher does not teach

He just slacks off and likes to come up with many childish jokes during the class. He does not teach and just declared that there will be 200 pages (11 chapters) text next week. The AP Exam is rapidly coming, and he is pretty much incognizant of the urgency of our desperate situation. Of course I can self-study(In fact, I have been self-studying) and cram before the exam, but I think this is purely brutal and unacceptable for him. We finally had run out of time covering numerous chapters at the end, so he thought it would be the best idea to give a test covering so many chapters that had never been went over. I'm just a desperate guy who wants to major in Biochemistry. I will, indeed, take Biology course in college even if I get 5 on this exam. I do know the significance of biology later on, so I have decided to take it again no matter what I score on the exam. Oops, sorry, I completely digress my point. Would it be too late for me to deal with this quandary? It is about 4 weeks before the exam, and he is struggling with teaching(pretending to teach) the chapter 33 out of 46. I'll do my best as long as I encounter problems that are at least familiar.

mine doesnt teach either. well, he reads from the book and bangs a femur on his desk once in a while. i dont get it.

That's tough.

My AP Bio teacher is actually a very dedicated teacher, and all I can really tell you is that she takes a lot of pride in the Cliffs Review book and the REA one as well.

I've used Cliffs to study for majority of my tests, and I'm doing very well in the course.

Do you use Curtis as your textbook? If so, there is a review/outline book available by this comany.

We are on chapter 39 (of 55) and guess what the teacher did yesterday? She showed us a movie: Aladdin.

I was so friggin mad. I went up to her desk and asked her for a worksheet on plant interaction with environment and she was like, "Oh...okay." God I hate her.

ps - i want to see the femur banging! :)

It is completely late to argue over whether he is a good teacher;however, I would still scathingly criticize his unresponsible and unprepared attitude for the class. Today he said their will be a test tomorrow with his half-opened eyes (looked like pretty sleepy, as always).
btw I use Peterson textbook.
