If u could judge my chances at getting into engineering and/or give me some suggestions on an action plan to increase my chances i would be very thankful.

Low reach (i think)

Yes, try.
What are you looking to major in. And if it is computer science, what is your gender?

I must say that gender plays a role in decision making when it comes to the SCS (School of Computer Science). I have scores that are much lower than yours on the SATs but have been priority waitlisted for SCS... granted, I'm female. A male friend of mine applied to SCS with much higher SAT scores than I and was rejected.

my suggestion is that you take the sat II math 2 and aim for a high score - that might significantly raise your chances.

I rate on a scale of high reach, reach, semi-reach, good fit, likely, safety and would say that Carnegie Mellon would be a semi-reach for you. If you do ED, however, it would probably be closer to a good fit.
