My chance?

I will be a senior in this fall semester in AZ, but haven’t studied well.
My grade is 3.1 (unweighted) and 3.4 (weighted), SAT (380, 510 and 450 for cr, math and writing. would try one more time in this Oct).
ACT was 18, composite.
I know they are bad but meeting an admission requirement at GPA.
Do you guys think i can have a chance to get ASU?
Thanks

ASU has an acceptance rate of 82% or something, so I think you’ll have a chance.

But retake your ACT and try to aim for at least 22 or higher, I think that’s their minimum requirement. However, it does say that you only need to meet one requirement, and you have met their GPA requirement. But just to be safe I’d retake either SAT or ACT and try to get either a 1040 on SAT (Reading & Math) or 22 on ACT.

I agree with the comment above. You have met the minimum requirement with GPA, but should try to meet as many of these requirements as possible: https://students.asu.edu/freshman/requirements</a> . Your ACT score and critical reading score are below average, statistically, at ASU. However, with a strong GPA and high acceptance rate, you have a decent chance. Good luck!

You have guaranteed admission

ACT score will partially determine scholarship award, don’t be disappointed you may only qualify for a $5K award with an ACT of 18, try again a higher score will mean more $$$.

Don’t worry you will admitted, ASU do not deny anyone on grades or score, you will be fine

Englishman’s information is very often wrong, in this case regarding the scholarship.

You should use the Scholarship estimator at https://scholarships.asu.edu/estimator</a> It depends on test scores, GPA, and class rank. You can play around with it adjusting your test scores to see what scholarship amount you qualify for. This is only for merit aid, you may also qualify for need-based financial aid.

Another reason you should try to raise the scores is that ASU may use the scores for placement in English. ASU has their own test that all students have to take for math.
