My chances? Any point applying to ivies?

<p>Im from Pakistan. I want to know whether it's pointless applying for ivies or if I stand a chance with the following. </p>

<p>Grades: GCE result: 3 A*s, 2 A's, 4 B's
Working really hard for this term's gpa, expecting it to be good.
giving my SATs in a few days.</p>

<p>Won Best Athlete award at school this year in 11th grade (From among 11th, 12th and 13th graders)
Have a total of 13 trophees for sports.
Shields for winning ice-skating and rock climbing tournaments.
40 poems and articles published on TeenInk
A poem of mine published in an actual book (published in usa)
Member of my school editorial board for 6 years
Interned at Dawn Newspaper (Pakistan's largest newspaper)
Volunteer work at a hospital
Took a computer software course
Summer writing classes
Helped write for an actor/playwright</p>

<p>and that's about it.
Bad?</p>

<p>I would say your chances are very slim, but they are zero if you don’t apply at all! Make sure your SAT is near perfect.</p>

<p>International applicants always have a lower chance, but you will never know unless you try! :slight_smile: I’d say go for it and hope for the best!</p>
