Community college isn't an option, i will be shunned in my family, even if do go just for 2 years and transfer out...</p>

<p>Honestly , with your academics, community college might actually help you. It might bolster your academics, because your academics might indicate that you're not ready yet for college (which is perfectly OK). A lot of people had success after transferring from CC to a 4-yr institution.</p>

<p>A job is a perfectly good EC, especially if you earn money to help your family rather than for pocket money. Your SATs are not much lower than the national average. Still, with a GPA less than 2.0, community college is the best choice. If you can get a 3.0 at CC, you can then upgrade to a four-year college.</p>
