My UW GPA is basically the same as my W one: 3.03 UW and 3.07 W.
I have bad ECs
Sports: I did Track in 11th grade and I'm planning on trying out for Track and doing weight lifting this year.
Programs: I completed a Pre engineering program in which we did stuff such as work with Series and Parallel circuits and a model hydrogen fuel cell car, I helped fundraise money for a community service program I'm in, I also am currently in another pre engineering program in which we're currently making a styrofoam boat to compete in a competition against other schools.
Classes: No APs most were either full, boring or I don't have the prereqs, I have four honors classes that I did well in, I am currently doing 3 college credit classes two far I did well in and one I did horrible in, I have 6 math classes.

I want to major in Aerospace Engineering.

I'm an Out of State student applying for Fall of 2010.

OOS doesn’t matter as FIT is not a state school but a private one.

Your chances are good for admission.

Thanks

Is there any other information you can give me?

What’s the Average GPA?
How’s the College’s aerospace program?
Should I get higher on my SATs to increase my chances?
What’s good mean?
Should I do more ECs?

Basically is there anything I can do to better increase my chances.

Here are some stats from the web site, although they don’t answer the average GPA question:

86% of new full-time freshmen had 3.0 or above high school GPA;
SAT I average for freshmen is 1151, compared to national average of 1016.

Apply early, as admissions are rolling.

Since your GPA is a bit low (but not prohibitively low), as long as you have competitive SATs that will balance out. If SATs also low, then it is more important to add some appeal to your application.

Dig through the web site, find out as much as you can from that and other sources about FIT. Use that in your applicaiton to show that you took the time to know the school and consider it a high priority.

Rather than forcing additional ECs, focus on your passion for engineering. Since you were involved in more than one special program for engineeing, feature it in the application. If your essay can show you as an interesting person who is very interested in engineering and in FIT, that could count for a lot against a below average GPA.

Well they only ask for one essay and I did the Protrack one. I’m sure it gets my point across. I had my Teachers and Counselors include in there recs about my programs since I do visit them often but I hope it doesn’t look fake when they read it.
