My chances at cornell

Hello,
I am a student from India.
My sat score is 2130(780 M,730 CR, 620 W). I am expecting 800 on my SAT subject test in Maths, Chemistry and Physics.
I have over 20 prize winning certificates in high school at various competitions. I am the Head Boy of my school. My GPA is 4. I have been an intern also.

I need financial aid. Should I apply to cornell?

You should definitely apply.

I also think you should apply. However, it depends on which of Cornell’s seven schools you plan to apply to.

What exactly are you asking? Do you want your chances of admission? Or your chances of getting financial aid?

I’d say your chances of each are fair/good, but more info would be welcome

Thanks both of you. Actually I wanted to know my chances of getting financial aid in cornell. I plan to apply for computer engineering.

I got 800 on math level 2, physics and chemistry subject tests. So do I stand a decent chance of getting financial aid at cornell?

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that Ivy League schools like Cornell only offer aid on the basis of need, not merit.

In other words, your scores do not affect your chances of getting aid.

I may be wrong, but I think that there are different rules regarding financial aid for international students.

Cornell gives merit aid for internationals

Well then do I stand a good enough chance of getting into cornell?

You’re an average Cornell applicant. It’s harder for Internationals, so it’s difficult to say.

Well I finally applied to cornell.

By the way I got my applicant ID and am not able to view the information. Does anyone know why that may be?
