i mean, i know my grades aren't super, and im retaking my test scores. Our school doesn't do GPAs, but i know because i slacked off earlier in my school years, its gonna be hard to get in. I'm hoping that they'll notice the improving upward trend n my grades and give me a chance? I've also been actively working hard in my extracurriculars to make up for my weak grades.

Comments please? and support your opinions with a well-thought out reason? Thanks so much guys and sorry it was so long!

I think you actually have a decent shot if you know what college you are applying to, and if you can write a great essay to show your interest in... I'm assuming fine art? Try to get some great recommendations. Do you have a teacher that knew you when you were slacking and saw you change your mindset, because that would be great. It could remedy those C+'s. Good luck! Supposedly our Class of '08 is going to be the most difficult :( .

i know, because we are the sons and daughters of the offsprings of the baby boomers! so this year is gonna have the most applicants

and yea, i have one reccomendation from my chemistry teacher, who has taught me 10th and 11th grade, one from my US history teacher

and i got a rec from a famous artist in NY

im applying to college of art and sciences

any other thoughts please?

how can i maximize my chances?
