i am strongly considering applying to these four universities for business school. I haven't taken the SAT's yet, but from my practice tests, i am guessing that i will get around a 2050. I am the sports editor of my schools newspaper and i will play football my senior year. I take a few honors courses at a very competitive and well known high school in Massachusetts. also, my sister went to michigan and my other sister went to BC and got into NYU what are my chances at these universities' business schools? thanks

You don't mention the most important things: class rank/GPA. Your SAT is low for NYU Stern and probably impossible for Cal OOS. BC doesn't have undergrad business, does it? With a good class rank UMich is possible, but you don't get into business as a freshman.

my school doesn't give a class rank, but i have a 3.5 unweighted gpa and a 3.9 weighted gpa

I have about the same grades as you and I think i have a fairly decent chance of getting into Umich.

Cal will be a large reach because you are OOS. I would also say Stern is a reach due to slightly below average GPA and SAT.

Berkeley - Reach
Michigan - Slight Reach (Reach for ROSS PA)
Stern - Slight Reach / Reach
BC - Slight Reach

so do you guys think i should just apply to the general university and then transfer into the business school of which ever university i choose

Cal = big reach.

UCB: Reach (out of state)
