try another forum - I am not really sure I can recommend some schools.

It's going to be a stretch for UNC Chapel Hill for you. Give it a try, however, as you never know. What are you interested in studying? You'd be a good fit for UNC-Ashville or one of the other UNC campuses. Would you be open to private schools as well? If so, do you want to stay in the southeast/north carolina or would you consider other parts of the country as well? Do you have any preferences about school size, location, type, etc.?

I plan on applying ED/EA, will that help?

Yes, probably. Again, give it a shot - nothing ventured, nothing gained. Hope you come back and tell me I was ful lof it for saying it was going to be a stretch! Best of luck!!!!!!

UNC is EA right?

Yes, UNC is EA

Um, I think it will deffinitly be a long streatch. You probably need to strengthen you EC's, maybe gain a few more awards, even though thats not the "biggest" thing. I've heard its also almost impossible to get in if you are from out of state, but I don't know how muc I belivie that. You need to deffinitly get a better score on the SAT II's, maybe around a 1250 would deffinitly help, and maybe, possibly try ranking higher in your class...hope I helped!

you have a

okay chance, but that's only becuase you're a resident and a urm, i wouldn't expect any miracles though, you have a really low rank, if you were top25% this might be a different story, but alas, it is not

What is your actual SAT score? I saw something different on another thread. Is 1100 just your goal?

As far as a match out of state, what about Mary Washington? You are a URM, and a male. It really looks like a wonderful school and D would flourish-but the girl/guy is really twisted . Like almost 65-35.

i think that EA you have a shot, because the average gpa in the lower quartiles is about an 1190, and the average act is 27, with an average gpa of 4.1. So your ACT is just a little bit off, but your gpa and rank is what will hurt you.

i think that you have a shot, but its not a great shot.

good luck! and i hope you get in!

Any other colleges suggested, any one else?

anyone, anybody? please respond.
