My chances at UC Santa Cruz?

Hey all, I go to a community college in California.
I would like to put in an application to UCSC for Fall of '11, but only if I have any real chance of getting in.

-GPA (UC transferable courses): 3.29

-ECs: 1)Two semesters with Alpha Gamma Sigma (California Comm. College honors society),
one of which I served as an Interclub Council Representative.
2)Served on the Political Development Committee (student government)
3)One Semester with the Pre-Health Professionals Club (premed club), will serve
next semester as the club's treasurer
4)Community service (not sure how many hours I've done thus far, but I will start
volunteering in a hospital's ER department in a month).

Thank you for any help or comments you may have.
*first thread...woo hoo!

bump

good chance anything over a 3.0 transfer GPA makes you competitive at UCSC. why not try to apply to UCSB, UCI, UCD? you gpa is in their ranges. take 1 or 2 summer classes and raise it to over a 3.3.

Sweet, great to know that I have a good shot.
Application time is coming in November, I’ll be sure to put in a bunch.
Thanks for the reply FutureENTSurgeon! :)
