My chances for Georgetown/George Washington?

My top two schools are Georgetown and George Washington. However, I know they are very selective schools. Right now I have a 3.4 GPA for my Junior year (I think it's rising this semester though). Sophomore year I had a 3.8, and Freshman year I had a 3.9, but this year I'm taking 7 courses, 2 APs and all the honors I can. In my Sophomore year I had 1 AP and 2 honor classes. Freshman year I had only 6.5 credits, so my grades were higher. During Senior year I plan on taking AP Latin, Spanish, English, Macroeconomics, US History, and maybe AP Calculus AB. I could take Senior Math instead, which would be a lot less of a load for me, as my math grade is the grade really bringing down my GPA.

For ecs, I'm the president of Wilderness club, a member of Spanish Club, Latin Club (I've won awards on the state level for each language club on on the national level for Latin Club), a co president of Rube Goldberg, on various teams for political/economic competitions like We the People, Economic Challenge, and Euro Challenge, and a member of Mock Trial. I'm also a member of Anime Club and was a part of the student newspaper but I don't think they'd be as important. Even though I don't have many service hours, each year I go to a camp where I go on expeditionary trips that are very intense and long; this summer it will be 45 days in Alaska. What chances do I have? I think I'm in too many clubs and that I should try to improve my GPA, but I'm not sure which ones to quit.

Finally, for athletics I was in JV Field hockey freshman year, and Varsity Cross Country for sophomore and junior years. This year we made it to state, where we got 5th. Next year I could be captain, but I'm not sure. Thank you so much!

I would have to say your chances of getting into GW are very high. It’s not too hard to get into GW, and you are a sure-in candidate, so there’s no need to worry about that.

However, you can’t put Georgetown in the same category.
