Hey I'm a senior who applied to four SUNY colleges:
Binghamton
University of Buffalo
University at Albany
Stony Brook

I have an 89.27 average, 1830 SATs and taking 2 AP this year, as well as participated on the football and track team. I slacked off sophomore year but really made up for it my junior year. I really want to make it into either Stony or Bing. What are my chances of being accepted? I was accepted into Bing EOP program but Stony Brook said I was overqualified and put me in general admission. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone please, I’ll chance back!

I think you will definitely get into all of those schools! It sounds like you already have too. I don’t understand Stony putting you on the overqualified list–what does that even mean? Maybe you should write them a letter stating how its your first choice school, and that you would really like to attend.

Your odds are best at Buffalo but still just match range, nothing more. The others are reaches although I’d say within reach (not impossible). You should really apply to a couple more SUNY’s that could be safeties, such as Cortland, New Paltz, Oenonta, or Plattsburgh - 1 or 2 should be enough.
