You guys seem to know a lot about colleges on here so I was wondering, what you think my chances are.

Is your GPA unweighted, weighted or UC weighted?

So what is your UC GPA? Other than the common dataset which uses unweighted GPA, the UC’s will look at your UC calculated GPA.
Just based on your uWGPA, UCSC would be a Match and UCD would be a High Match/Low Reach. Much will depend on your UC GPA, intended major and essays.
Average UC GPA for UCSC last year was 3.82 Average ACT was 26
Average UC GPA for UCD last year was 4.07 Average ACT was 28
UC’s are very GPA focused so your GPA puts you at a slight disadvantage even though your ACT is above the average for last year.
This year’s stats have not been published I expect them to be higher.
Good Luck and make sure you have some solid safeties and a few more matches on your college list.
I was a little confused with the uc gpa calculator. Do you out all a ’ s including those that are not core class grades?
And what are some more matches you would suggest?
I think you include all the grades that from A-G classes or that satisfy the UC a-g requirement.
Other schools that you ‘might’ be interested in: Cal Poly SLO, Cal Poly Pomona, San Diego State, UCR, UCI, UCSB, UCM
Depends to a certain degree what your major is.
The best way to determine your a-g courses for the GPA calculator is the look up your specific school and see the course list. Here is the link: https://hs-articulation.ucop.edu/agcourselist#/list/search/all
This link will also show which courses are considered Honors and will be eligible for the extra Honors points in the calculation.
@rdeng2614 gave you some other schools to consider, which would be High Match/Match and Low Match schools for you based on your posted information. Much will depend upon your intended major. The more competitive the major, the higher stats are needed for an acceptance.
