<p>hey guys, i was wondering what my chances would be for the higher end and maybe middle ranked UC schools such as uc berekly, ucla, ucsd and also for other schools such as NYU, and maybe Pepperdine.
I am a current sophomore in high school but i just want to know what i need to be doing in order to get into these schools.
My 1st sem sophomore grades-
Alg 2 Honors- D
Chemistry - C
Spanish 2 Honors - B
Design tech/ib - C
English 2 - B
AP European History - B</p>
<p>and yes, i know that htese grades are just horrible but i really messed up last sem and i regret it. I am planning on turning it up and doing the best i can for the next 3 sem of 10th and 11th grade i have left. To make up for this semetser also, i will be retaking alg2 in the summer which will help a little and i will be taking AP statisitcs or AP anthropology or maybe even both at a tutor academy outside of school that provides it for credit .
What should i be doing right now in order to have the highes chnaces of getting into these schools. Do i even have a chance anymore of getting into these schools after doing so bad last semester??
Also, i currently play 1 sport(basketball), am in key club, and planning on making my own club next year to be president.
