My Chances- Liberal Arts Colleges

I am an English major at the University of North Texas. I have a 3.89 GPA and close to 50 credits. I would like to transfer to a small liberal arts college but I don't know where to begin. I am also conducting undergraduate research here and writing a 12 page thesis on Shakespeare's Macbeth. I was wondering if anyone could provide me with a list of schools I would have a good chqnce at? I took AP classes throughout high school but was only in the top 17% of my class. Above average extra curriculars but nothing spectacular. 1800 SAT.

What year are you? Do you want to stay in Texas? Probably the best thing to do is to figure out why you want the transfer. Try to figure out a reason to go to a target institution. Is there a program there you like? Is there a person you’d like to work with? Once you’ve figured that out, then look at that school’s transfer admissions criteria. Some schools will and some won’t accept transfer credit. Are you willing to take one more year of school? Also check the financial aid offered at that school (or average debt load) at web site called c o l l e g e d a t a.
