My Chances/Matches (CA CC Transfer)

I've been prowling around this board for a while, reading about transfer stats, chances, etc for a while now. My situation is this:

I graduated high school in 2004 and decided to attend to USF (University of San Francisco) out of HS. Due to combined parental marital /financial problems and my overall lackluster impression of USF, i left in the middle of Spring semester 2005. I then moved home, and started at DeAnza Community College. Now, i'm entering my second quarter at DeAnza. Essentially, i have 1 semester of work from USF (none of which, i think, will be transferrable as it's all upper division and masters level) and 2 quarters from DeAnza.

My Stats Are:
HS GPA (weighted): 3.15 (heavy AP/Honors courseload, student body president, etc, etc)
SAT: 1290
USF GPA: 3.75
DeAnza GPA: 3.8
EC's (current): environmental education internship, 5,000+ hours of community service, free tutoring (low income/no income children).

I MUST GET OUT OF COMMUNITY COLLEGE AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. Thus, i'm applying to all these schools as a transfer for Spring 2006.

I'm thinking i'll throw an application at the following schools (some are way out of reach, i bet):
Santa Clara University
Pepperdine
Occidental
Scripps
Claremont McKenna
Cornell
Loyola Marymount

oh and p.s. -- i'm sortof eccentric, and usually convey that in my statements and interviews. i wrote my main admissions essay, in high school, about The Beatles. I'm creative and a semi-accomplished artist (have sold work, could show a portfolio, but i'm sure they have better things to do).

any feedback is appreciated.

3.8 is a good gpa! you have good chances IMHO!

also, you should definetly consider the UCs, even if its only Berk and UCLA.

i can't apply to UC's for Spring 06' admission, as i haven't complete IGETC. I also have about 45 units to transfer, not the require 90.

unless you know anything about working around those restrictions....

i know two people who have transfered after one year from UCSD to UCLA w/ out IGETC... Obviously they didn't get 90 quarter units, they used their AP credits to fill that requirements,

Since u say u took AP in HS, u should have some...

BTW what;s ur major?

history.

and i'd like to pick up a double major in Environmental Studies.

UC to UC or 4 Year to UC transfers don't require IGETC. i dont think.
