My Chances @ Top Tier schools (ivies etc)

Hey guys, I just wanted to post my stats to see the general opinion. Heres the story: In High School, I was a total slacker and now I am in college, I am working really hard, realizing my past mistakes

High School: GPA: 83 (B-), SAT: 1350, SATII's ranged from 590-650.
Capt. of a varsity sports team. Some memberships in clubs etc

College: Currrently attending SUNY Stony Brook, eco major, GPA of 3.85 (currently I am a sophmore). I am a capt of a sports team, a treasurer and board member for the entrepreneurship club, member of the Economics honor society, Sigma Beta Honors,

Thinking of applying to a wide range of schools that have stronger Eco. programs such as NYU, Upenn, Cornell, Columbia, Dartmouth, Brown, Uchicago, Georgetown, etc.

My main concern is that in HS, i really messed up. But since freshman yr, I have been getting straight A's in all my classes, excerised my leadership potential. I also have good relations with several professors who can write positive recs for me. I have loaded up on classes as well to show that this is not a fluke, i averaged 18 credits a semesters while in Stony.

What do you think?

Thanks in advance

hey i just about the same story... same stats in high school and same in college... tried transferring to upenn last semester but didnt get in... now trying for washu for the spring

whoa... me too. Same SAT score and current gpa. I'm into UChicago, Brown, and Wesleyan. I go to Oberlin, but I'm looking for a really good college that also has a film program.
