I know that the odds of me getting accepted into the Naval (or any other for that matter) Academy is extremely slim, but from what I have now, what do you think I would need to improve my chances

GPA- 3.21 (last updated in June of '09, should be around a 3.3, hopefully higher.
Rank- Third fifth of around 530
Sports- Baseball, Football, Hockey, though I did not play through school, only in outside leagues.
Jewish
SATs- 1580 (Horrible in my eyes. Taking them again in ?June, expecting no lower than a 1900. This time, maybe I will actually be able to sleep more than 4 hours.) Math- 620 (hoping to get a 700, and Critical reading- 470 (hoping for >550.
ACT- 25 Composite, 27 on the Math/Reading

My sister knows a respected alumni of the Academy, who knows basically everyone at West Point, so hopefully I can contact him and get some help, but I won't put all my weight on that.

I have been a camp counselor for 2 years.

I am in great shape (ran the 1.5 mile in less than 9 minutes at a slow pace)

Unfortunately I have not been able to attend the summer seminars due to financial reasons, being unable to get to the school, and other personal reasons.

A cadet came to my school last week to speak about the academy, and from what he said, and everything he showed me, completely blew my mind.

So I know that my best chance of being accepted is if my application falls into the accepted pile accidentally, but what do you think?
