I completed my placement exam probably 2 weeks ago and I got my score. I checked it several times and it was in place. Now I logged in to my blackboard account and I see that I am not enrolled in any courses (previously it showed the placement exam). I cannot see my score for the test either. When I go into the class search, the placement exam comes up again and the button "Enroll" is available. I am really confused, do you have a clue what could cause this? did it disappear because I already took the test? any ideas?

how did you take the test already? are you going to be freshman? im confused, hopefully im not missing out on stuff…

I’m a transfer student for the sophomore year. What do you mean how did I take the test? I went to the courses, enrolled in the placement test, and then took it.

never mind. i thought you were a freshman. i guess you guys do that before us

^Why, is your test not yet available? You should be able to find it on balckboard if you already got your ID and password. I don’t see why transfers would have an earlier access.

i’m an incoming freshman and i took the test already to get it out of the way, but like you mine has disappeared. ugh i do not want to do it again!

^well, at least now I know I’m not the only one. It is probably that they pulled the scores off and erased the placement “course” since its not a real course. I’m guessing this is why they asked us to write down our test scores or take a screen shot and bring it to the first day of class. Don’t know where I read this but I definitely read it somewhere. As long as you remember your score, you should be fine.

The test doesn’t actually count for much…it just lets you know where you stand…but you may still have to take a placement test on campus during orientation, depending on the level of language.

You don’t have to take the placement test if you did the SAT II Subject Test for that language, right?

I think they say you do if you want to confirm AP credit, but I didn’t and my peer advisor last year didn’t…so I’m pretty sure you don’t.

wait, i got my username and pw, but wtheck is blackboard…

@hoyasaxa92, how did you take your placement exams?

i got the info off of here:
