I am a an international student and I am currently in my admission process to U.S higher education institutions. My teachers and counselor are pretty new to the whole process, and so my counselor checked a wrong box in the common app that asked if my “school was located outside of the U.S,” which it is. However, my counselor says he mistakenly answered this question and put yes, meaning he checked that my school is located within the US. He, allegedly, did put my country and address in the school details and uploaded my school transcripts, and I put in my common app that my school is in my country. Will this affect me by any means ?
No. Just email the college and let them know of the correction. It won’t hurt your chances either way.
@Groundwork2022 Thanks so much!! I was very worried this small detail would blast my chances of getting accepted into Cornell (Very dramatic, I know) but I could not help it. Thanks for the reassurance <3
