<p>Write articles or poetry and try to get them published somewhere. Local media, school media, publication contests, essay contests, start a writing club, create a website or blog where you publish your writing</p>

<p>Okay I don’t know how to publish it on places but I can look at some more localized papers’ websites and see if they allow submissions. I’m already in newspaper and yearbook though so I got the school media thing down, I think. And I’m definitely not a poet I just like writing opinions on sports or other issues that interest me. I can write a good essay too but that isn’t really something people publish XD</p>
