Last year during my junior year, my high school informed us that they were closing after that school year. So I transferred after the first semester to a new high school to render use to my new school. I didn't really have a choice. I don't regret it but my junior year courses are all screwed up. My first high school only offered 3 honors courses junior year and junior and senior year are the only years they offered them for MY class because we were a small class. I took honors British Lit, Honors U.S. History II for full credits and I signed up for honors Euro for the second semester. I was also in regular Algebra II because my school didn't offer the honors.

At my new school, I still has hon. Lit. But hon. History II they didn't have, so I replaced it completely with the honors Euro class, which they did have. I also decided to take honors Algebra II. I received A's in all the honors courses in both schools (my new school is a more competitive school).

I want to go to the University of Pittsburgh and I will be applying there soon but I know the rigor of our high school classes are an important factor to them and this has me worried out of my mind because I'm a very serious student. Will they know what courses were offered at my other high school? And will they see my second semester as a good attempt to take a challenge?

This year I'm also taking 3 AP's and 3 Honors. How would this whole picture look to college admissions officers?
