rigor of courses- mostly honors and level 3 college prep courses

i would like to major in either accounting or information technology/information systems

any input would be great and i will chance back

I don’t know that much about the college admissions process yet, so I’m not an expert with this whole chances thing, but I’ll try to help you out… (don’t take offense if I say something that offends you though.)

I think UMass Amherst, University of Hartford, and Roger Williams will be reaches for you. I’m going to be honest, your grades aren’t very good, and neither are your test scores. (I’m not sure if your GPA is weighted or unweighted though)

I don’t know much about these schools though at all, I just compared your stats to the % of people who got into those schools on collegeboard.com

I would definitely try and raise your GPA (I’m assuming your a rising senior) if you can, and definitely raise your test scores!

I’m not sure how the whole donating money thing really plays a part in admissions, especially since he’s not your parent, but hopefully that will help and you’ll be accepted to UMass Amherst.

Good luck!
