Hello, guys. It's my first time on this site because I've reached a dead end. Here's my story, I did poorly in high school and didn't get into any top schools. So I've decided to work my ass off in a community college so I could then transfer to Penn State Smeal as double major in accounting/finance. But my problem is coming from Jersey, I don't any of local community colleges that have an accounting associate degree.. I just do not know where to start.. if anyone out there could give me a little insight? Like which schools does Penn State accept the most transfers from? Whats a cheap two year school, that is close by in PA?

Where in New Jersey do you live? If you live near Phillipsburg, then I would highly recommend Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, PA. I am a current freshman here, and my experience has been amazing so far! This isn’t your usual community college; we have so many amenities that few community colleges across the nation have. For example, we are the ONLY community college in Pennsylvania to have residence halls (I live in Delaware County, near Philadelphia, but having my own dorm was the factor that sold this place to me). We also have a highly regarded honors program (which I’m in). If you have any questions about NCC, feel free to message me!
