I feel so stupid right now. I should have found that out a long time ago. I mailed my GPA verification like in jan or early feb (don't remember) and got the "Ceritificate of Mailing" thing (the one that u have to pay $1.05 for), but I think I lost it. I didn't know that I would get any notification in the mail about my cal grant elligibility after I sent in my GPA verification. So... I did file my FAFSA, but is it useless now that I'm not getting anything from cal grant??? I'm screwed huh?

They even list UC Berkeley as my school on the cal grant website

Nothing is listed under the Cal Grant section in my FAAL... My need was calcualted to be about $10,000 and the only aids listed in my FAAL are the student and parent loans. I guess that's all I'm gonna get???

My school didn't send it in, but I did get my GPA verified and send it in myself. The mailman probably lost it or delivered it to the wrong address :-/.... First I thought that the reason I never got any notification about Cal Grant was because I had no need met. I googled Cal Grant last night and found that there was a website where you could check your status!!! No one told me about that before. My high school teachers kept mentioning only FAFSA during the financial aid application filing period. Now, don't u feel sorry for me lol?

You should give the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) a call at 1-888-224-7268 Mon-Fri 1:00-5:00. You might have a simple misunderstanding that possibly can be corrected.
Where you see in Award Detail "UC Berkeley" mentioned. That automatically happens during the data batch processes where an entry is required. When it is blank, although you hadn’t indicated Berkeley CSAC's systems by default will. It’s erroneous.
