My HS Documents

They were sent on Thursday and on the UT EID log in it says they still need them. Should I be worried? When should I expect them to receive it?

Oh I forgot I’m from Dallas

If they were mailed, it will take 2-4 weeks for the admissions department to process them. They may be there via the mail system, but UT gets so much paperwork on a daily basis, they get backlogged very quickly this time of year. December 1 is a receive by date so hopefully they time stamp, but the website is crystal clear that if you wait till the last minute (and this is the last minute) you have to give at least 2 weeks. That is why they want electronic submissions, not mail.

Actually the UT website says, “Items submitted in paper format must be in an admissions office/center or in the hands of an admissions representative on the deadline date.” Which means when it gets to UT means nothing. It has to be in the hands of the admissions office by December 1.

So my documents are likely there, they just haven’t processed them and I have nothing to worry about?

You should be okay, but they have to be processed by 12-1. At this point you have no control over that.

on their website it says items that they receive may not be updated and appear as missing but it will still be counted as on time. this makes me very worried as I won’t know if they have received it or not until it’s too late.

it’s been a week now and I’m worried as to whether or not they’ll reconcile my transcript with my application, or whether they received my transcript or not. I wish they could indicate whether they have it or not and just process it later :/

ezra11, I am in the same boat. I’m from Houston, and my school was supposed to send my transcripts last Thursday, but I am not sure if they did. I will find out this Monday.
On UT Status Check, it appears that they are missing my transcripts.

According to the UT Status Check: "Our records indicate that we’re missing the documents listed below. If we do not receive these documents by the application deadline, we cannot make a decision regarding your application.

Documents are processed as quickly as possible. Around the application deadline, it may take one to three weeks for your document(s) to appear on your Application Status page. Thank you for your patience. (Items that arrive by the deadline are considered on time, even if they do not appear online by the deadline.)"

As long as they have received your documents by December 1, you’re good.

Do the Application Roundup thing… they time stamp it and send it to Austin.

actually…i found out that my counselor just dropped it off at the UT Austin admissions office in Dallas, instead of mailing it to Austin. Meaning I should be good, right? I guess I’m just being anxious/a worry-wart.
