And mystatus still says "incomplete" for that part?

Did you mail it or send it electronically? Depending on where you live it could take a while to get there, but if it’s sent electronically then they should have it by now. Sometimes it takes a while for admissions to process all of your documents. It could be there already, but it just doesn’t show up on your UT Application Status because they haven’t gotten to it yet or something.

It should be postmarked and that should be good enough. Mail might have been delayed due to the holidays…

Are you from Texas?

This is what I did since I waited until the very last minute - or I don’t think I even knew about it - but to get my transcript in by Dec. 1 — I’m from SA and UT even has an office in downtown San Antonio and I hand delivered it there on December 1. It just had to have been sealed and stamped; and the lady cleared me immediately.

Yeah I live in Richardson (Dallas) Texas. School had to physically mail it since they don’t do it electronically. Thanks for the replies, eases my nerves a little.

UT goes by received by dates, not postmarks. If you mailed it last week it should be there. The admission office will stamp it received on whatever day they get it, even though it could take weeks for your status to catch up. If you want to be really safe, there is an admissions center in Dallas you can drop off another copy today and they will mark it received today.

That’s what I mean! ;)

Best thing to do is hand deliver it. Chuck it at them and be like, hey!! Here’s my transcript! Accept me now or dieeeee! lol

Ok, looks like they’ve finally processed it. Application status is complete now.

Congrats. You will be accepted within the week to the university and major if you’re an auto admit.

^ Just because you were lucky to receive a speedy answer doesn’t mean it will happen to everyone or that it’s going to be bad news if it is slower to issue!

Just don’t want people to be unnecessarily stressed… Decisions will continue through February.

Good luck. Hook 'em!

I know that. I’m just saying that if he turned it in when he did, about a week and a half after me, than he has a good chance of getting a somewhat speedy answer. A lot of the later answers are for non-auto-admits or for other reasons.

Good luck OP. Tell us when you get your decision.
