My schedule

<p>I'm kind of worried now that my schedule won't be enough for a competitive school this year. I really didn't care last year, so I missed a lot of requirements to take AP classes. Here is my schedule:</p>

<p>Chemistry
Biology
Spanish II
AP Psychology
AP US History
Advanced English II
Introduction to Engineering (Project Lead The Way)
Algebra II (one year ahead)</p>

<p>Because I missed many prerequisites last year, this is the most rigorous schedule I can take. In comparison with my school, there are probably twenty kids ahead of me based on difficulty of the classes. Also, note that the only "advanced" classes that are offered are English and US History. I'm taking AP US History, so I couldn't take Advanced US History too.</p>

<p>Tough luck. It’s your fault in the first place. But be happy, since you’re taking 2 AP’s and a college introductory level (?) Engineering class, since I as a sophomore am taking only 1 AP.</p>

<p>You shot yourself in the arm. All you can do is plead your counselors to move you up to the APs (forgo requirements) but other than that, you have to deal with the mistakes you made.</p>

<p>I’m not raging, it’s not like we can change anything now since you already tried and failed. So as I said, “tough luck”. I just compared you to me because the hardest coursework a Sophomore in my school can take is only 1 AP, and you have 2, which is ofcourse above average in America. So you shouldn’t be worrying about rigorous schedule, and worry about how to get a more rigorous schedule next semester or Junior year. How to do that? Learn from what you did in 9th grade.</p>

<p>That comment was directed at CSIHSIS. People tend to get mad when I don’t realize they were being sarcastic. There is pretty much no getting around not having the prerequisites, that’s why I’m taking chem and bio this year, so I can take all the AP science classes.</p>
