My School is stupid

<p>Hispanic kid who is obviously the most Americanized Hispanic child I've ever met...</p>

<p>He just told me that I won't get into a good college because I'm not in NHS. He also thinks because he has good grades that he'll get into whatever college he wants</p>

<p>I just want to scream out that he'll get into any college because he's Hispanic... yet then he'd probably think I'm some kind of racist. </p>

<p>So my nerdrage is because:</p>

<p>1: Minorities who aren't even tied culturally to the race that they are yet get friggin accepted because they are of that race</p>

<p>2: people who think NHS means a lot because it really doesn't for most colleges seeing as 99% of the people applying to them are in it. by the way i got my sat over 100 points higher than him good game</p>

<p>And NHS doesn’t matter. Unless you’re an officer in a very active club, it won’t make any difference.</p>

<p>Why are you so concerned with others? Who cares.</p>

<p>For the record, Hispanic is not a race, it’s an ethnicity. Hispanics can be black, white, or even Asian.</p>
