My sophomore schedule...is it too crazy hard?

AND when are you taking your MCAT? I was thinking about starting to review using examkrackers starting this year and then continuing until junior year around May or something. What’s your plan?

Well, probably like a 96 or something would be an A+ with that scale. And fortunately, I don’t think I’m in the 8 am class, haha. You should try to switch out of that man…

I’m taking Physics 40a too! I’ve heard it’s a difficult class, and an epic turning point for engineering students because it’s just that hard to understand. Not exactly a calming idea, but oh well…I think your schedule is okay if you think you can handle it. But personally, my mantra is now: Don’t get too overconfident. It depends on what classes you took your first year? And when did you take CS10? Linard’s a toughie from what I hear, Millard is a great professor, but if you took it just recently then most students in the class covered different material than in fall and spring.

og nice, taking chem05 too huh!
Im only sticking to one upper div per quarter… im packing too many science classes…
Chem112
Math10
Phys40
Biol05 (yea starting late lol)

once im done with math10 a and b, im taking math46. phys40 im going all the way up to e.

I took cs10 with Kris Miller this last Spring. I doubt he just covered different material than in some other quarter…plus I’ve got Kris Miller again for cs12 next quarter

Yeah I’m not too confident haha, my classes last quarter were definitely easier. My hardest classes were Chem 1A, Calculus 8b/9b/9c, and I guess cs10 (but that wasn’t difficult).

I meant “my classes last year” not “last quarter”

MehediMD,

Us chemistry majors should stick together! I am taking chem05 next year, i will post on CC again so i can let you know my call number! What time is your chem112a class?

Awesome! There are less than 120 of us here at UCR! I love meeting fellow Chem majors! A chem major and I are planing on putting something together to gather and network all the chem majors here (plus some other neat stuff) so yeah, just shoot me a post on fb!

Update for anyone interested: so far my schedule’s been manageable.

Just wondering, do a lot of people usually talk to the dean to get past the 20 unit limit?

I keep hitting 18-19 for four classes so it seems somewhat impossible to pull five classes

Why do you want to take five classes?

Kill myself and then tell horror stories to freshmen, lol

dunno. Mebbe just go on some sort of crazy banzai in which I finish all of my humanities requirements in one quarter

although that would require 6 classes to go past 20

but you know, like if I ever get used to my workload

I’m already doing 4 classes and I spend like 30 hours a week playing computer games

sounds like you need to join a club or something… not take more classes. D:

By the way, the schedule was not too crazy hard and I dominated that **** with 2 A’s and 2 A+'s. Moral of the story is a tough schedule isn’t the end of the world.
