So I applied to UCF thinking it was a direct connect school with daytona state(ucf transfer advisor had told me) thinking all I need is my A.A not too worried about my G.P.A. well I called today to double check if it was a direct connect school and it was not! I talked to the the director of transfer students' and she said she was sorry that I got stuck in the middle, and planned around false information but that last thursday they had a meeting with Daytona state and were just waiting on the signature from the president so it would become a direct connect school with UCF. she said that let admission give me a decision and if I didnt get in to give her a call. I had a 3.0 and now after taking calc 1 and 2 and physics with calc 1 and 2 and chemistry my g.p.a is a 2.44 (currently re taking calc 2 and if i get an A it will go up to a 2.6). I currently own/run a franchise so my study time for those classes were limited resulting getting a c. Should I be worried? I spoke to UNF and they told me on average they would accept a 2.6 for there computer science programs. I have all my pre reqs done for the program. But UNF would be 2 hour drive and i cant relocate due since i own a business and that's how I survive.
