i dont understand. its completely unfair.

i get perfect scores on my quizzes but F's on my homework. she tells me "your a very smart girl. and i know u can do the math in your head, but you didnt put the work on the paper. its not long enough"

so basically she is telln me to b.s. sum crap and put it on a piece of paper to humor her. I dont understand. this isnt fair. why should i longate my homework time so that she can feel like she's a good teacher?

errrr Chemistry teacher last year.
Ok, i graded your 10 page research papers. Well, actually i graded maybe 2 of them since i had more important stuff to do...and gave the rest to my dad! My dad said your paper was really good. This is how i did the grading...if you did really good you got 100, good you got a 99, if it was ok you get a 98. So everyone in the class got either 100, 99, or 98 since he was too lazy to REALLY grade any of the papers. (apparently his dad didnt help him much either).

Hahaha runpunk. That's fantastic but I would be so ****ed. Vertigo, it's Open Courseware and actually really useful, but I can understand your frustration ;)

I haven't got teacher problems this year, just a sponsor who doesn't understand that I'm busy, but that's avoidable.

my spanish teacher can't speak english. so she pretty much just writes random things on the board in no logical sequence, and then the quizzes and tests cover things we never learned in class. all the homeworks online so we never know when it's due, and we never actually know what we're dong wrong. she can't understand when we ask question. right now two people are passing.

VeganActress- Your spanish teacher and mine must be related. He can speak in english pretty well but is a horrible speller.... in SPANISH. He says things on quizzes like translate this: They washes the dishes. He was trying to say where something was and it was like Ella

lol, none of us pay any attention any more.
it seems like only knowing spanish is fine for an advanced level class, but it just doesn't work for spanish 1!

I was kicked out of middle school because i hit my friend with a rubber band and someone saw it. I don't mean suspended; I mean completely kicked out, forever, and I was the 8th grade valedictorian by .3 on my gpa. I had a 4.0 and the next kid had a 3.7.

haha wow runpunk and asc have two of the most amazing stories ive seen on cc.

however, rara, you sound like a good math student. therefore, what your teacher is telling you to do will help you in the long run. for the ap test not only must all of your work be there but you will have to justify the answer. if you continue math further and begin to publish ****, people need to see how you do it. showing your work is a basic principle of math.

Wait for the teacher to do something mean to another kid, then get the teacher fired. This is what a few of my friends did in Spanish. The teacher sent a kid outside in January in Illinois and just watch the class through the window because they were being loud in class. The entire class called the school district and she was fired the next day. True Story.

haha, well that was his 2nd year as a teacher. It makes me mad when I spent a lot of time perfecting and editing my paper, and then he does a poor job grading. He also let everyone grade their own tests...you can imagine the cheating issues that sprung up with that. 90% of the class (not I) would never study and give themselves a decent grade. He quit after that to become a youth minister. ><
