If I were asked what ONE thing I love about Reed, I would say it would definitely be Reed's love of academics. To read a class's book because you love it and the class, because you love the odyssey of expanding your horizons; the chance to do academics based on one's passion, based on the ubiquitous-insatiable desire to learn something new, ultimately the chance to learn- a way of thinking and viewing the world as a young individual coming out of high school never has done before. The fact that I love overcast weather, am a Physics major and literately yelled in surprised happiness that you guys have a undergraduate run nuclear reactor, the fact that a Socratic-discussion based method of teaching is employed at Reed instead of the daily drudgery that public high schools are filled with, or the teacher-assistant orator in a lecture hall full of 500 apathetic degree-seeking empty plebes that is most prestigious universities and state schools, is only the cherry on top.
But still, my heart beats fast as every minute till the deadline ticks closer, my fingers type with furry inhibited only by my lack of confidence that I know enough, that I am impressive enough for the most impressive place of learning I know: Reed

I'm currently polishing up my full in-bulk "Why Reed" essay, but just looking at this general theme of what I am writing, what do you think?

And if you want to look at the actual paper, please! let me know!
