<p>Was wondering if there was any place on Bama’s website that might give you a tutorial of the mybama site. Using this forum and just some exploring, I’ve found calendars, and even found a campus life section where you can search events on campus like movies, etc.</p>
<p>Was wondering if there was a site, maybe on mybama, where you can find when and if you paid certain deposits. This particularly is of interest to me as I’m not sure when exactly we paid the housing deposit and when son can start his room selection. Also, want to make sure don’t miss any deadlines for other important signups throughout the four years, especially where finances are involved.</p>

<p>That sounds like a great idea. I would help you there, but to be honest, in the five years I’ve been using it, I have probably used about 5% of myBama’s functionality. Rarely do I use it outside of registering for classes and checking grades.</p>
<p>The only tutorial I know of for MyBama is the 3rd tab from the left that says “tutorial”. Is that showing for you?</p>
<p>Yes, that is showing, but it is not as specific as I would like.</p>
<p>I guess I should ask specifically, where can I go to find out exactly when we applied for admission and housing, as it seems those dates are important for housing. I was hoping to find out exactly what date we did our housing deposit just by clicking on a link on the website. Although I don’t think we’re in the very early group, not sure if we signed up before December 1 or not. I’m sure there will be other financial dates that will be important in the future and would like to have a record of at one site, to keep everything better organized. I am glad that I did find the tutorial and other helpful links on mybama. As I may not use all the services now, I may have occasion to in the future. I’ve enjoyed perusing the calendar and class choices, though, and I encourage son to use the site to find out about happenings on campus.</p>

<p>I don’t know if that info is on mybama. However, look at old Crimson email and see if you rec’d emails that verified these deposits.</p>
<p>Housing is very good e-mailing people before room selection begins, but you can always call them to see. I’m sure there’s a lot of features on it that I don’t know about.</p>
