Sarahsmom42,

Tell her we said to Break a Leg! I'm sure she'll enjoy her time at Elon. Our son thoroughly enjoyed all of his involvment with Elon. CC certainly has enough contacts for her to make the most of her visit!

Thanks! D has a five day break before rehearsals start for Miss Saigon. She's hoping to spend some extra time working on her audition pieces. What would you say the focus of the dance audition was? Jazz, ballet? Did they have anyone tap? Is Elon focused on more classical vocal training or MT?

Sarahsmom - this is an Ithaca thread, but I'll try to answer your Elon question. They have a good mix of classical and MT voice training, and my son has a wonderful voice teacher. Elon has many good voice teachers.

They didn't dance the year he auditioned, but I have a feeling that the audition is more jazz based. Hopefully someone else can answer that. They have great dance teachers in all areas of dance in the college program.

Hope you have a great audition day there!

Thanks so much!
