Mysterious letter from Ross...

<p>Your application has been received by the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan to be reviewed for the preferred admission program. However, you did not submit the required letter from page 2 of the application, which states: "If you would like to be considered for preferred admission, specify your program of choice (Business), and provide a letter describing your reasons and career goals with your application." Without this information your file for preferred admission is incomplete. Please provide the following information by 5:00 p.m., Friday, August 11, so that your application may be submitted to the Admissions Committee for review. I will confirm receipt of this information in an e-mail reply.</p>

<p>Well, I applied February , after dead line.</p>

<p>and I did not write an essay.</p>

<p>and i got waitlisted.</p>

<p>then I got in.</p>

<p>now they send me this email telling me i need to write an essay.</p>

<p>I thought admissions were over!!!? What does this mean? Do I still have a chance?</p>

<p>I would call Ms. Flynn ASAP and then fax or email her a copy of your acceptance letter.</p>

<p>apparently they are still reviewing the pre admit applications for the waitlist admittances?</p>

<p>i think they're going to consider them and see if someone really stands out, but don't get your hopes up.</p>

<p>Chanman, sorry, I misunderstood your post. I thought you were referring to an accpetance as a Ross pre-amdmit. Best of luck!</p>
