N&M Breadth of Inquiry Question

I will be a freshman and a pre-business student this fall. At orientation I signed up for math-m 118 and phys-p 105 because those two classes fulfilled the N&M credit. But now I just found out I got credit for psy-p 101 which is also an N&M course from an AP pysch course in high school. So my question is if I do drop the phys-p 105 and just take the math 118 course does it still fulfill the N&M credit with the AP credit for psychology. Also, if I do drop the phys-p 105 I will have only 13 credits from the original 16 I signed up for at orientation. So do you have any class recommendations that I could take to get it back up to 16.
This is my schedule-
BUS-A 100
ENG-W 131
FOLK-F 101
MATH-M118
PHYS-P105 -the one I may drop
POLS-Y109
Thanks

The Kelley Icore prerequisites M118 Finite and M119 Calculus together satisfy the entire six credit hour Breadth of Inquiry: Natural & Mathematical Sciences requirement, so you don’t have to take any more of those, including PHYS-P105. http://gened.iub.edu/requirements/genedrequire.html</a>
[N & M Courses](http://gened.iub.edu/courses/natural_mathsciencescourses.html)

Also, if you are trying to get into Kelley, there is no need to take both Finite and Calculus. I think Calculus is easier (less quirky content and less competition), so I might take that instead of finite. In any case, you only need ONE of finite or calculus to apply to Kelley. Taking both adds unnecessary risk, as you might get less than a solid B in one of them, and most students that take these classes get less than the solid B.

Thirteen credits is plenty for first semester. 14 would be needed if you are trying to get into Hutton Honors college based on your first semester gpa and credits taken (3.7+/14 credit hours minimum), but 13 will keep you busy and give you more time to get all solid B’s for automatic admission to Kelley.

You also might consider adding an easy HPER class for one or two credit hours.
