I am a freshman applying for the business school next semester so I need good grades. I am looking for an easy "A" a&h class and natural science class (without a lab preferably). I am absolutely horrible at science! But need to do well in these classes to balance out the challenging courses I am taking next semester.

My schedule so far is:
k201 computer in business
m118 finite
bus t-175 kelley compass
a&h
natural science

any advice on classes and teachers would be much appreciated.

If you are taking calculus M119 this semester and get a good grade in it (solid B or higher), then I would not risk taking M118 next semester and getting a bad grade. You don’t need both M119 and M118 to apply to Kelley, if you take two communication classes (BUS-C 104, BUS-C 204 or ENG-W 131, as you are just taking K201 in Spring) and meet the other requirements. It is probably easier to get solid B in BUS-C 104, BUS-C 204 or ENG-W 131 than in M118 and M119.

Do not take any pass/fail courses, as Kelley will count these automatically as a B- and that will hurt guaranteed admission.

Make sure you take 26 credits and get all solid B’s and above. I wouldn’t risk taking more credits than 26 credits of good grades; if you get all B’s and above and take the minimum required classes, then you are guaranteed admission. You can always load up on harder classes at community college in summer after getting accepted to Kelley.
