Nanoengineering

Can anybody give me any info on Nanoengineering at UCSD? I know this is a new major and that's why there wasn't much info on the UCSD site, but it looked really interesting from little info that they had.

I’m interested in pursuing nanoengineering too, if bioengineering doesn’t work out. I’d like to hear some opinions from people currently pursuing the major.

You guys are the first to pursue this major. You and the current students/alumni are all in the same boat on Nanoengineering.

I’m guessing it’s UCSD’s take on Material Science + ECE or something of the like, but who knows.

Ultimately it depends on who UCSD hires and what those faculty’s research interests lie in. If it’s more ChemEng, then that; if Materials, then that; if Magnetoresonance, then that; etc.

nanoengineering is a new major at ucsd
rumor has it that its going to be the hardest major at ucsd
