I just finished my sophomore year; I plan on applying to selective colleges. I don't want to come off as padding my resume, having weak ECs, or not being very "focused." Should I drop any of my activities and/or increase involvement in certain ones for my junior year?

It really depends on what you are interested in pursuing in college. Something like environment group seems a little out there, but if you truly enjoy it, then just be as active as you can be. What are you wanting to major in/pursue at college? Because I've been told that if you put what your desired major on the application (there's a part that asks), then the admissions will read your application based on that interest. is that clear?

If you don't like what you're doing, then stop doing it. If you like it, keep on doing it.

I plan on double majoring in Japanese and international relations/business. I think you're right about the environmental group; I like all my clubs, though that one is my least favorite.
