<p>Has anyone else had bad experiences with the financial aid people at UChicago? Pretty much everyone I've ever spoken to there has been angry about life in general.</p>
<p>seriously? i think the uchicago financial aid office [not to mention admissions] had the coolest, most laid back people i talked to during my college search. they even remembered my name from my summer visit to my interview in the fall.</p>
<p>maybe you just caught them on a bad day.</p>
<p>Maybe they know who you are and have unanimously decided to dislike you for all eternity.</p>
<p>My dad said they were really helpful/friendly...hmmm...</p>

<p>I've known him to be tricky like that.</p>
<p>And they told him Congratulations 3 times while on the phone!</p>
<p>He deserves it, getting through the busy signals to get to the operators is a real task.</p>

<p>They didn't help me at all. But that is because I am waitlisted and not important</p>
