National AP Scholar

Hey guys when you got back your ap exams does it say whether you are a national ap scholar on it? Because mine still says ap scholar with distinction (from last year)...I am a rising freshman in college. Would I be eligible for national ap scholar? my scores are 4 5 4 4 5 5 4 4 4 3 (subscore: 3) 3 5.

on the rubric it says for national ap scholar you need to have at least 8 exams of 4 or above and an average of 4 or greater...I have 10 exams of 4 and above and my average is greater than 4.

feedback?

I believe that they send the awards in September. I qualified for this as a Junior this year and my score report also was not updated.

thanks! so it did not appear in that box below your scores for awards?

No big deal - my D got a seperate letter to certify her award. It’s now in her award book, but didn’t get used for any purpose in getting in to her college choice.

Hey so would I be a national ap scholar if I received the scores of 5,5,5,5,4,4,4,4,4,2? In order to be a national ap scholar cb says that the award is given to students with an average of 4 on all exams. Does that mean I am not eligible for the award?

Your scores (assuming I didn’t miscount the 4/5’s) would average out to 4.2, hence qualifying you for National AP Scholar. Congrats.
