<p>Are all scores considered when it comes to the National AP Scholar award? If I have, say, 9 5’s and a random 1 thrown in there, does that automatically DQ me, or does it only mean that the score of 1 will not be counted?</p>

<p>All scores from high school are considered. The 1 will not disqualify you because all you need are 8 exams with 4 or higher on each one.</p>

<p>I think the scores are averaged too, but 9 5s and a 1 is still a 4.6 average, which is above the required average of 4. You will be fine.</p>

<p>Question: If I apply to a school via Early Decision in September, will the school still receive the National AP Award notification? CollegeBoard says that schools and students get a certificate in October, but it didn’t say when do colleges get the notification. Do they see the award when I report my scores, regardless of when I do it?</p>

<p>Last year I took Calc AB and this year I took Calc BC. Do both exams count towards the national AP scholar since it wasn’t the subscore? And does the AP physics C e&m count as a whole AP?</p>
